9/16/17 - Waukee Stadium - 5:30-6:30am (will stay open later for 5K Runners) - DIRECTIONS
A waiver must be signed before you get your race packet. If you have a conflict, you can have a friend or family member pick up your packet for you. To do so, please print off the PROXY FORM for your designated friend or family member and sign it. Your designated person will need this form to obtain your race materials.
At Waukee Stadium, we will have a bag drop where you can leave any essentials that you would like once you finish. Change of clothes/shoes, towel, cell phone are possible suggestions. Only the bags provided at packet pickup will be allowed at the bag drop.
All runners will be provided a timing chip. Your timing chip will be attached to your bib. You will be timed according to your chip or net time.
The bib chip cannot be folded, pinned or bent in any way for it to record your time correctly. We cannot guarantee an accurate time if your bib chip is damaged in any way.
There are multiple aspects of safety to be aware of for the Waukee Ten. Watch the weather on the day of the race. If it is 85 degrees, do not wear your winter coat to run in. Drink plenty of water. Don’t hesitate to stop at aid stations on the course. There are 7 aid stations!
The course is on pavement and traffic will be controlled by Waukee Police, but please we aware of what is under your feet, ahead of you and around as you run.
Music, games, snacks, drinks, and the CROSSFIT FLYOVER Podium!
Global Brew (9500 University #1118) is also welcoming all runners (with their bib number) after the event with HALF OFF BEERS UNTIL 1PM! Bring your bib number to Global Brew and enjoy your Saturday with college football and toasting your 10-mile accomplisment!
